Muhammad Bashir Anjum

Bashir has 20 years of experience working with National and International organizations in Pakistan on resource mobilization, designing and management of programmes/projects related to community-driven development, poverty reduction, multi-sectoral Nutrition programme, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health, Sexual Reproductive Health/FP, Child rights and protection, WASH, Adolescent, Humanitarian and Climate Change, social entrepreneurship, returnees assistance and reintegration, education, and HIV&AIDS. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with Government at Federal and Provincial level and has worked directly with USAID, FCDO, European Union, UNICEF, DANIDA, UNFPA, ECHO, BMGF, Government of Pakistan and many other doners for the development and management of donor-funded projects in Pakistan.
He joined Hystra on 1st March 2022 as Programme Manager, Pakistan. Before he worked in Pakistan with the National Rural Support Programme, Rahnuma-FPAP, Save the Child UK and Rural Support Programmes Network.
Bashir holds an MSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, MSc (Hons) degree in Rural Development from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad, Master’s degree in Public Health from Sarhad University Institute of Science and Technology, Peshawar and a certificate programme on Social Enterprise Management from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
