Thomas joined Hystra in 2023 as a Consultant. At Hystra, Thomas is supporting a project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation aiming at assessing the potential impact of irrigation for smallholder farmers and identifying the barriers and potential unlocks to scale irrigation in Sub Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining Hystra, Thomas worked six months as a climate consultant for Traace, a carbon management platform, and one year in Senegal in circular economy, to develop a battery regeneration industry in partnership with the local Ministry of Environment, giving lead-acid batteries a second life.

Thomas holds a PhD in satellite electric propulsion in Ecole Polytechnique and a master’s in aerospace and engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
